This method of production, called Good ManufacturingPractice, is therefore a requirement for the production of medicines.
GMP concerns precise definitions of how and under whichconditions a product is made. Duringproduction all raw materials, interim products and end - products are checked andthe process is very accurately adjusted according to the so - called preparationprotocol. In the event thatsomething does transpire to have gone amiss with a specific batch of medicines,there is always a way of tracing how it occurred, who conducted the tests,where and which raw materials were used, etc.
